We have once again wrapped up another successful Victorian Street Fair. The weather wasn’t on our side this year (has it ever been?!) as winds up to 84kmph .prevented us from putting up our music stage and gazebos – but even this wasn’t enough to stop us! Plan D meant we had our performers move into our stage in the Community Centre. The music, mulled wine, and stalls made for a cosy, atmospheric day. As we begin to look at The Victorian Fair 2023 (yes- already!), we wanted to share some of the good vibes we got back from this year.
“A great big thank you for having me along today- such a charming, fun and festive event! Lots for the kids to see and do and lots of happy grown ups with hot coffees braving the weather. I really like how inclusive and accessible it all was: there were a number of non verbal children there who were loving the bubbles and bright lights in particular. Thanks to the stewards for their help and good humour too! A job well done!” -Victoria.
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for organising a brilliant event today. Precise and clear instructions, easy to get to the hall, set up was quick and well planned. I had a great day and raised a good amount for the charities we support. I hope the rest of the event was successful and thank you again.” – Tracie.
“What a wonderful experience at Whitehead Victorian Event today. Well organised, friendly with plenty to see. Many congratulations on your efforts in the town today, we had a lovely day walking around crafts, train ride, chips & tea!” – Jim.
“What a fantastic day we had- not enough time to see everything. Well done to all the organisers and everyone involved- looking forward to the next one!” -Annette.
“Great fair and day out for all ages, it was evident that so much work went into it, hats off to the organisers, thanks so much for having the Hula Hooping Ice Princess and thank you Ricky for the amazing video.” – Fiona.
